Information for People Selling a Home in Sudbury and Surrounding Area

There are many reasons behind the decision to sell your home, cottage or income property.couple

Long before you open your house to showings you should look at your home through the eyes of a buyer. You need to see the inside and outside of your home with a fresh perspective.

That is just one of many ways that I can help you. As a real estate professional, I am constantly speaking with people looking to buy homes, recreational properties and investment properties. People tell me the features they are looking for, what they expect to see when a property is shown and what they want in order to close the deal.

Client Testimonial - “We did have a number of people give us their spiels about how they would sell the house. So we had a choice. We liked your personalness. I am pretty sure this isn’t a word but it suffices. You understood our dilemma.”

Information For People Buying a Home in Sudbury and Surrounding Area.

Buying a home is one of the most important decisions you will make. For most people it is both the largest purchase and the biggest investment they will carry out in their lifetime. It is important to appreciate that there are many things to consider when buying your home.

Client testimonial - “Very satisfactory. Best real estate experience I have had.”

Carla-Bussolaro-coupleIt is important to make sure you have the financial resources for your purchase. Meeting the minimum down payment is fine, but ideally being able to make a larger deposit is better. Also, are there any other large expenses such as starting a business or growing your family planned at the moment? Would this interfere with your ability to purchase right now?

It’s also a good idea to know what you can afford before you start shopping. You should meet with a  lender or mortgage broker to go through a mortgage pre-qualification process. This can help you narrow the field by targeting homes inside your budget.

Client testimonial - “… our experience was great…..you were very receptive learning quickly what we liked and didn’t like…and you were not pushy at all…”

Remember that mortgage rates can vary considerably, and it is your best interest to shop for the best rate, terms and mortgage options.

Make sure you assess the ongoing costs of home ownership as well. Utility costs and property taxes can play a factor in deciding on a particular purchase.
